had a good day

Had a good day in work was only in for 4 hrs came home and had fish and chips for tea they were lovely.  I only have a takeaway every now and then.

I will be doing some stitching at the weekend well on Saturday as I have the day off can't wait.

last day of holiday

well today is the last day of my week off, it has been a quiet week in which I have been cross stitching or reading or been on the laptop.

I'm back to work in the morning at 7am only 2 weeks at work then I have a week off again can't wait

finally finished the nativity window cross stitch

Well I finally finished the nativity window scene that I started 3 years ago all the cross stitching was done quite quickly but it was the backstitching that took its time, it has now been washed and is drying naturally in the airing cupboard, will iron it either tomorrow or Saturday then take it to the framers to be framed hope to put a picture on here soon

another relaxing day

although i didn't do any stitching today, I did take some old cardmaking stuff down to a local  community group for them to use and hopefully make some cards to sell to help keep there running costs down.

hope to finish off  the nativity window scene tomorrow night only a little bit of back stitching to be done on the right hand side and a bit on the arches above the windows

nice relaxing day

well today I've done some backstitching on a nativity scene so that's nearly finished now hopefully that will be completed tomorrow or on Wednesday.  I have also been watching a bit of telly well the winter Olympics.

going to cook tea a bit later on its sausages and chips yummy.

relaxing week off

At last a week off so I can relax and do some cross stitching or sewing my patchwork placemats.

A lot has happened since I last had a blog so I thought i'd do a new one and hopefully show some WIP'S that need to be completed

this was started by my aunt who passed away about 6yrs ago she has done the top left and im continuing down on the left hand side its sentimental so im hoping to finish by the end of the year and then hopefully I can pass it on to my mum or I may keep it myself not sure yet .
